Leading financial services provider seeks a compliance professional to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and codes of conduct through appropriate control systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide specialist input on legislation, regulations, policies and code of conduct. - Contribute to the design of training on compliance for all levels and where necessary deliver training on compliance issues. - Provide specialist input of compliance matters as a member of project teams to steer and review new processes. - Development of communication tools to raise compliance awareness and help embed compliance into the business culture. - Liaison with Legal to ensure that current best practice is known and communicated.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree or similar level background - Compliance experience preferable - Good working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, policies and codes. - Understanding of mortgage business model - Influence persuasion and motivational skills
